Santa Barbara Inn Receives AAA's Four Diamond Award for 2023

The Santa Barbara Inn has received AAA’s Four Diamond Award, once again, for 2023.

There are currently six hotels in Santa Barbara that have an AAA Four Diamond rating.  Only 6.3 percent of more than 27,000 AAA inspected and approved hotels receive the prestigious Four Diamond rating.

“AAA is pleased to recognize the Santa Barbara Inn for earning the AAA Four Diamond rating,” said Patricia Marenco of the Auto Club’s Approved Accommodations Department. “To maintain the standards required for this rating on a daily basis is an outstanding achievement.  AAA Four Diamond establishments are attentive to guests’ needs and consistently deliver memorable travel and dining experiences.”

The Santa Barbara Inn reopened in July 2016 after a 2.5 year extensive renovation.  The resort along the ocean on Cabrillo Boulevard in Santa Barbara offers 70 guest rooms and suites, all with private balcony or deck, providing ocean and mountain views.

The Inn’s popular Convivo Restaurant and Bar attracts overnight guests and locals alike, with indoor and outdoor dining, featuring full bar, fire pit and panoramic ocean views.  Chef/Owner Peter McNee offers an ever-changing “Nomad Italian” menu for breakfast,  lunch and dinner.
