The Santa Barbara Zoo, known as one of the world’s most beautiful zoos, is a short walk from the hotel. More than 500 animals are exhibited in open, naturalistic habitats. The Santa Barbara Zoo is situated on 30 acres of lush botanic gardens overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

The Santa Barbara Harbor is home to Sea Landing and the Condor Express, a 75-foot luxury vessel, captained by a professional staff.  Hop aboard the Condor Express and cruise the Santa Barbara Channel, home  to over 30 different species of whales, dolphins, seals and sea lions.

Downtown Santa Barbara is a short drive from the hotel by car or via the eco-friendly electric shuttle that stops at the hotel every 30 minutes.  Downtown Santa Barbara features hundreds of restaurants and abundant shopping including Paseo Nuevo, Victoria Court, La Arcada and El Paseo. 

Art galleries and historical museums are abundant, including the Santa Barbara Museum of Art, Natural History Museum and County Courthouse and Sunken Gardens.  Local artists present their wares each Sunday along the ocean, just minutes from the hotel.

Santa Barbara County’s Wine Country is a 45-minute drive into the Santa Ynez Mountains.  Over 100 wineries welcome you for tours and tasting.
